Petit Lemans, the fall racing classic at Road Atlanta, is rapidly becoming a globally recognized event. Teams from all over the world come to north Georgia in September for a shot at a win in the 1,000 mile long race. Petit Lemans, now a part of the Intercontinental Lemans Cup and the up-coming World Endurance Challenge series, had teams venture from as far as the Middle East (in the case of Gulf AMR Middle East) to be a part of the contest.

The end of June marks a few important events in Seattle. The first of those events is the much anticipated Audi Expo which is the largest all Audi event of its kind in the northwest. The second event is the annual arrival of summer, which conveniently showed up just a few hours before the show! The weather couldn’t have been nicer and the atmosphere was set for an amazing event.As Audi Expo celebrated its 11th year, it held its event at a new venue.

We gathered on an overcast Saturday morning in Irvine CA for the inaugural “New OC (Orange County) Drive,” constructed by SoCal Club secretary Phil Cowan.  A nice turnout of about 20 drivers slowly gathered, signed in, with many then drifting over to Starbucks for their morning coffee.  On schedule, Phil welcomed the group and ran through the pre-drive instructions, handing out the course instructions with mileage references.
