2011 Teen Driving Clinic – Saturday June 4th, 2011
If you know any Teen who needs to improve their driving skills, please distribute the attached flyer.
The Audi Badger Chapter has a tradition of conducting annual driving clinics for teens to improve their driving skills. The goal is to teach many of the driving dynamics and skills that are often omitted in today’s world of basic driver education. The club conducts the clinics as a community service event and all teens are welcome.
You do not need to be related to an Audi Club member to participate in the clinic. The nominal $15 fee is to cover lunch and registration costs.
The clinic is held at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. It is a combination of classroom instruction and driving exercises. The teens will use their own cars to improve their skills in the vehicle they routinely drive.
The teens will learn:
Driving basics
Importance of vision
Cornering - understeer and oversteer
Braking
Proactive vs. reactive driving techniques
Effects of weight transfer
Driver courtesy
Safe following distance
This clinic is a great way for any teen to improve their driving skills and confidence. Pass this information on to family, friends, classmates and co-workers.
Spring Tech Session @ Autobahn – Saturday June 11th, 2011
On Saturday June 11th (9am-noon), you can learn about the important mechanical aspects of your Audi with our free vehicle inspection presented by Todd Diaz, Master Audi Mechanic and owner of Autobahn Service. Each vehicle will be put up on the lift so you can get a 360 degree and learn the basics about regular car maintenance. Todd has been specializing in the maintenance and repair of Audis for over 25 years. His shop can also do the same for VW, BMW and Mercedes. Autobahn Service is located at 8661 N. 107th Street in Milwaukee.
In addition, we are also presenting a first-ever ABC seminar on the VAG-Com software. Joshua Smith an ABC club member from Neenah, will be demonstrating how to use the VAG-Com software to configure aesthetic and convenience Audi vehicle options. Josh will discuss and demonstrate some of the programming changes which can modify the operation of your lighting, locks, windows and unlock hidden options.
Lastly, in a tasteful effort to make our friends at the Mercedes Club jealous, we will be serving a complete rib dinner with potato salad, cole slaw and all the fixin's. A $6 donation will help cover the cost of such a scrumptious feast.
To signup, please email your name, contact phone number and vehicle model & year information to Chris at
